I’ve finished one Black Purl sock. Do I still think the stitch pattern’s a bit busy in this colorway? Yes.
Do I still love it? Hell yeah!
This sock features yet another pleasant surprise. I accidentally made the heel flap a bit shorter than I usually do, shrugged and decided to give it a shot. Which led to the discovery that shorter heel flaps combined with round heels actually fit me really well. I think it’s the best-fitting heel I’ve knit to date! And that just makes the sock even more awesome.
These socks need a name. Thoughts, anyone?
